What I’m Wearing Wednesday: It’s beginning to look a lot like winter

It’s starting to feel more like winter. And by “starting to feel” I actually mean “it’s pretty much officially winter up here in the northwoods.”

Just like the season, the jewelry I’m wearing has also made a big transition. I find that I reach towards different metals during different seasons. During the winter I gravitate towards the warmer colors, and my recent outfits have been dominated by gold.

Oh and I’ve started to fill my lockets with lots of Christmas cheer!

Origami Owl Christmas Locket

On Tuesday morning I woke up all excited because there was snow on the ground, but imagine my excitement when I woke up this morning to see this out my bedroom window:

Snow outside a screened window

A blanket of white covering the neighborhood. Boy it makes my heart so happy! Most will not agree with me, but I think snow is one of the greatest charms of life. There is something so magical about it!

Somedays, I just don’t feel like wearing a locket. Luckily, Origami Owl has my back. This season’s collection included some simply sophisticated and easy to wear necklaces. Layering is super easy with these little necklaces and they are just what I need to add a little sparkle to my outfit without the fuss of a full locket (because, honestly, a locket can be a little distracting sometimes).

Also, this weekend I packed up all my jewelry and set up a display at a local vendor show. You will notice I am wearing the Bolo Locket, yet again, because it simply goes with everything

And there you have it! A little recap of what I’ve wearing this week. This type of post is kinda fun! I might start doing a “What I’m Wearing Wednesday” semi regularly. What do you think? Do you like to see what I’m styling? Or do you think I have bad taste? Would rather see just pictures of lockets? Doesn’t bother me either way. People don’t answer these questions anyway so I’m just gonna keep doing what I want!
