It was always my dream to work at Disney World. When I was accepted into the Disney College Program, I was just excited to being going to Disney, I didn’t care where I would be working. BUT when I got down there and learned I would be trained in at the Great Movie Ride, I just about fainted. My dream had come true in the most amazing way possible. My job required me to spend day after day guiding guests on a tour of classic movies. Every twenty-two minutes, I would drive a huge tram through classic movies from the last 100 years, ending in a big finale in the colorful land of Oz.

Shhh the following are backstage photos of a now defunct Walt Disney World attraction:

And so, the Wizard of Oz will always have a very special place in my heart. I’m so excited because Origami Owl’s Wizard of Oz collection not only allows me to tell the story of a favorite classic film, but it also provides me with charms to tell the story of my favorite job on my favorite ride at my favorite Disney park.

So without further ado… Introducing…

Origami Owl’s Wizard of Oz Collection

You most certainly wouldn’t be able to tell the story of the Wizard of Oz without Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin-man, or the Cowardly Lion. So naturally, we have a charm for each of them. (and take a look at that adorable Tornado Window Frame!)

Oh and Toto too!

Of course a Wizard of Oz Collection needs some Ruby Slippers. How about a Ruby Slipper Charm Pendant?

Somewhere over the rainbow

… you’ll find the Emerald City, glimmering in the glow of Swarovski square emerald crystals.

And finally, we have Professor Marvel’s Crystal Ball Locket. This locket spins and has a domed glass face that creates a gorgeous magnifying effect.

And there you have it folks! I hope you enjoyed your tour of the Origami Owl Wizard of Oz Collection today. I’m gonna be honest, I’m a little disappointed with the lack of witches in this collection. I’m going to go dig up my retired Halloween charms and search for a witch hat to pair with some black and green stardust to create a little melted witch locket! Regardless, a collection that gives me charms to commemorate my favorite job ever? Now, that is a little charm of life! I’ll see you at the movies!
