Wizard of Oz Themed Menu

Growing up, my sister and I spent countless hours in our step-grandma’s art studio. She always had a new project for us to try: painting, watercolor, pastels, clay, even a little sewing. As we wasted away hours in the studio, often taking breaks to jump on the exercise trampoline, there was always a movie playing on an old VCR and box TV set. More often than not, that movie was the Wizard of Oz. The innumerable times I’ve watched this classic film has instilled in me a great appreciation for all things Wizard of Oz.

And so, I was very excited when Origami Owl announced their collaboration with Universal was going to result in an entire Wizard of Oz collection!

Wizard of Oz collection coming soon

And so… to celebrate this exciting launch, I prepared a Wizard of Oz themed meal.

The Menu

I’m gonna be honest, I didn’t put a ton of effort into this meal. I ran to Dollar General to pick up a bag of Bugles and I grabbed a container of potato salad from the local grocery store. BUT the chicken salad was homemade and it turned out amazing! My sister couldn’t get enough. Even after she finished her sand’witch’ and had put her plate in the sink, I found her sneaking forkfuls from the serving bowl.

I mean, come on, how cute is this plate?
